Glowora is a slim, minimalist LED table lamp that runs from a built in rechargeable battery, so it can go wherever it is needed without a trailing cable. A light touch adjusts the brightness, and the light colour can be changed to suit the moment, from reading in bed to a low glow over dinner.
The lamp measures 33 x 5 cm and comes in six body colours: white, orange, black, grey, red and brown. The neutral shades sit quietly on a bedside table or desk, while orange and red add a clear accent to a living room shelf or sideboard. Because it is cordless, it is easy to move from room to room, or out to a table on a warm evening, then back to charge.
The body is made from PC, a light and durable plastic. Inside is an 1800mAh lithium battery that charges over USB at 5V in about four hours and gives around 8 to 10 hours of light per charge, depending on the brightness used. The LED draws 3W. Charge it fully before first use, wipe it clean with a dry cloth, and keep it away from water. Unplug it once charged if you are leaving it for long periods.
