Wren is a small semi-flush ceiling light for the places a pendant would be in the way: corridors, landings, cloakrooms, porches and low-ceilinged bedrooms. It sits just 10cm proud of the ceiling, so it clears doors and heads where a hanging fitting would not. The matte black body curves into an open spiral that reads as a small piece of sculpture from below, and you choose the light itself, a warm glow for hallways and bedrooms or a clean white for porches and cloakrooms.

The LED is built in and included, so there is no bulb to buy and the light is even across the face of the fitting with no hot spot in the middle. At 23cm across it is deliberately modest in scale, which is exactly right for narrow spaces where a large fixture would loom. Use one per two to three metres of corridor for continuous, shadow-free light.

It runs on 110-120V or 220-240V mains. Maximum wattage is 39W or under. The fitting is hardwired and should be installed by a qualified electrician. The metal body wipes clean with a soft dry cloth.
