Its teardrop silhouette, drawn in iron and softened by an acrylic shade, is available in matte black, gold-plated and chrome finishes, each catching the room's light differently through the day. Inside sits a 9W LED, and you choose its light colour when you order. Warm Light (3000K) pours amber over a nightstand or a reading corner. Neutral Light (4500K) is the easy all-rounder for hallways and living spaces. Cold Light (6000K) gives the crisp, clean task light that suits a kitchen bar or a worktop. Each Liora weighs a mere 1.3lb (0.6 kg), hangs from a slim cord and hardwires into the mains, with the LED included and an IP40 rating for everyday indoor life. As with all hardwired ceiling fittings, we recommend installation by a qualified electrician to set each drop at the perfect height. However you hang it, the Liora earns its place many times over.
