Jules is a white globe pendant with a deliberate wobble: the spheres sit slightly off-centre against one another, so the fitting has the gentle irregularity of a sketch rather than the symmetry of a showroom. It is a light that makes people smile, and it suits dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens that want a little wit alongside their good taste.
Choose a 25cm (9.8 in) or 30cm (11.8 in) globe, and either a single pendant or a three-head cluster. The single is ideal over a bedside, a reading corner or a small round table; the cluster of three hung at staggered heights makes a proper centrepiece above a dining table or in a stairwell. The 1.5m (59.1 in) cord is adjustable, so you set the drop to suit the ceiling.
The white shade is acrylic on a brass and aluminium frame and takes an E26 or E27 bulb, not included, so a warm LED gives the softest glow. It is hardwired to 110-120V or 220-240V for indoor use and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Sizes are hand-measured with a tolerance of one to three centimetres; wipe the globes with a soft dry cloth. Loom Row suggests hanging the three-head cluster with the globes stepped about 15cm (5.9 in) apart in height, which shows off the offset design from every seat.
