The clock is made from metal and runs on one AA battery, which is not included. Hang it from a secure fixing suited to your wall, and leave some clearance from doors and shelves so the crescents are not knocked. Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth or a soft brush to reach between the layers, and check the fixing now and then to keep it secure on the wall.
