The Juliette is a semi flush ceiling light built around a sculpted glass shade, sitting close to the ceiling so it lights a room without stealing headroom. The shaped glass spreads light outward and softens it on the way, so what reaches the room is a warm, even wash rather than a hard point of glare. It comes in nine glass colours, from soft green, pink and lavender to classic clear, white and frosted, so it can be a quiet neutral or the one splash of colour in a room.

The Large, at 38.5 cm (15.2 in) across, is generous enough to hold the centre of a room or sit above a dining table. The Medium, at 23 cm (9.1 in) across, suits hallways, landings, bedrooms and smaller kitchens, or can be hung in a row over an island. Both are shallow enough for standard ceiling heights where a long hanging pendant would drop into the way.

The vintage-drawn silhouette is deliberately unfussy, so it reads as comfortably against period plasterwork as it does in a plain modern room. The glass is thick and evenly finished, the mount hardware is solid metal, and it fits like any standard ceiling fixture.
