Rowan is a slim vertical wall light built around a solid crystal rod, and it is the kind of piece that earns its place on a wall twice over. Lit, it throws a soft, even glow through the crystal's internal bubbles; unlit, it reads as a sculpted line of black or gold against the paint. Loom Row chose an integrated LED rather than a bulb holder, so there is nothing to change, nothing to hide and no cable running down the wall.

This is an ambient and accent light rather than a main ceiling fitting, covering roughly three to five square metres. That makes it right for flanking a bed, lifting a dark hallway, framing a bathroom mirror or marking the turn of a staircase. Choose cool white at 6000K for a crisp, contemporary feel, or warm white at 3000K when you want the room to soften in the evening. Both finishes, black and gold, carry the same crystal rod.

The body is crystal with aluminium and metal components, CE listed and rated for 110-120V or 220-240V mains. It is a hardwired fixture rather than a plug-in lamp: we recommend a qualified electrician fits and mounts it, and in a bathroom it should sit in a dry zone well away from direct water or steam.
