This melting clock looks as if it is slowly sliding off the edge of whatever it sits on. The glossy ABS body is moulded into a soft, draping shape inspired by surrealist art, so it reads as a small sculpture first and a clock second. Roman numerals follow the curve of the face, and a silent quartz movement keeps time without a tick, which makes it an easy companion on a desk or bedside table.

It measures 12 x 15 x 18 cm (4.7 x 5.9 x 7 in) and weighs around 450 g (1 lb), small enough for a bookcase, a mantelpiece or a desk. Set it on a shelf so the face drapes over the edge, hang it over a ledge, or prop it against a wall. There are four colours: white, black, silver and gold. Black and white keep the look graphic, while silver and gold lean into the glossy, reflective side of the design.

The body is moulded ABS with a glossy finish, which wipes clean with a soft, dry cloth. Because it is designed to overhang an edge, choose a stable shelf or ledge and make sure the clock is sitting securely before you step away. It is a conversation piece that still does its job, telling the time quietly while guests work out what they are looking at.
